Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Samman Nidhi Yojana: All those women who are above the age of 18 years are covered under this scheme. The scheme helps empower the women with a benefit of Rs.1,500 per month. There was also an announcement that the Chief Minister will provide Rs 1,500 from 1st February 2024 to 2.37 lakh women who were previously receiving a pension amount of Rs 1,100 in the state. The government’s sensitivity towards women is reflected by this decision and the amount given would certainly help in their social and financial upliftment. Rs.1,500 has already been provided to all the women of district Lahaul-Spiti and to all women of the State whose age is above 60 years since the date February 2024, under the Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh-Sammaan Nidhi Yojana.

It has also been pointed out that the contribution of women towards the progress of the State is incomparable. Under the Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh Samman Nidhi Yojana all the women above the age of 18 years of the State will be given Rs.1,500 per month.
